I have always loved wildlife for as long as I can remember. It has always been a part of my life. There is something so simple in it yet so harsh and brutal at times. All forms of wildlife have to defend their livelihoods from predators and natural causes but they should not have to defend their lives from humans..humans who do know better. In today’s age, wildlife is affected more by humans than by harsh environments, from overfishing to the destruction of wild spaces and use of dangerous pesticides.

We can make a difference; a small amount can help, but overall is insufficient. It is not only individuals who can significantly affect change; it is Governments that have the last say. Policies put in place do little to aid and current actions appear to be entirely ignorant of concerns.

Despite recognising that toxic pesticides are currently affecting bees, they have an impact on bee navigation and breeding success, and bees are not the only creatures affected. My project ‘My World Envisioned' is about "A World Without Bees" from the perspective of a young child. She dreams about what this world would be like and how it will affect plants and wildlife. We rely on bees for fruit and veg…we need bees to survive.
